This website is hosted and delivered using services provided by Cloudflare, Inc. and its affiliated companies.

When you access this website, technical information required to deliver and protect the website may be processed. This may include, in particular, your IP address, requested URLs, timestamps, information about the request, system or browser-related information, and traffic-routing information.

This processing is necessary to make the website available, maintain its security and stability, detect technical problems and protect the website against malicious traffic.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in providing a secure, reliable and technically functional website.

Cloudflare may process information in countries outside the European Union or European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers are subject to the applicable safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.

3. YouTube videos

Some pages contain videos hosted by YouTube, a service provided by Google.

YouTube content is not loaded automatically when you visit a page. Instead, a local placeholder is displayed. A connection to YouTube is only established after you actively choose to load the video.

After you select “Load video”, the embedded player is loaded from YouTube using the privacy-enhancedyoutube-nocookie.com domain. In doing so, information such as your IP address and technical request information may be transmitted to Google. Additional data processing may occur when you interact with the YouTube player.

Loading the video is based on your active decision to access the external content. The legal basis for processing based on this choice is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, the relevant rules concerning access to or storage of information on your device.

4. Contact by email

If you contact AquaTerraLife by email, the information contained in your message will be processed in order to respond to your request. This may include your email address, name, subject, message content, attachments and other information you voluntarily provide.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the communication relates to the use of an app or another contractual or pre-contractual matter. In other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, with the legitimate interest of responding to inquiries, feedback and support requests.

Communication is retained only for as long as necessary to process the request and, where applicable, to comply with legal retention obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. Analytics and advertising

AquaTerraLife currently does not use its own analytics or advertising services on this website.

In particular, the website does not currently use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics or Google AdMob. Separate AquaTerraLife apps may use different services and are covered by their respective privacy policies.
